4.4.4 Set and allow the temperature chamber and TI to stabilize at 25C (77F) and verify that the TI indicates within the

specified limits of the standard digital thermometer indication. (Refer to applicable TI checklist).

NOTE

Some TIs have a timed automatic shutoff. The above TI comparison to the digital thermometer should be

completed within approximately 30 minutes, otherwise some TIs will automatically shut off.

4.4.5 Remove the TI from the temperature chamber.

4.4.6 Attach a Special Calibration label to the TI stating that only the meter has been calibrated.

4.4.7 If no other measurements are to be performed, disconnect and secure all the necessary equipment.
